Opening Gifts
We wanted to share with all of you some cute pictures of Abigail opening her presents. Children are truely interesting. What we deem as exciting is very different than what a small child believes. Sometimes the box seems more interesting than the gift itself. Tissue paper is an amazing thing to a one year old. We were more anxious to see Abby open her gifts than she was. I know that many of you have experienced the same sort of things. We let her open a couple of gifts early and she would tear some of the paper off from the gift and then get up and leave it. It was killing us. We wanted to experience her excitement and she was leaving us hanging. She did pull through for us and opened the majority of her gifts when we webcammed Christmas night.

That is too adorable! I know exactly what you mean w/ the kids not being as excited as you are....just wait it'll come in a few years! Killian has always been that way, he opens one and wants to play with it for 20 minutes before he opens the next, and we're sitting there going "C'mon! Open this one too!!" Glad you guys had a great Christmas!
Six, I have discovered, is the BEST age so far for watching your kids open presents. Emily kept giggling and saying "This is getting fun!" I guess that means we picked great gifts.
To cute! Sage finally got into it this year and was fun to watch how excited she got. I'm glad you had a great Christmas! We are enjoying our beautiful weather here!
Too cute! We still have to wake our boys up on Christmas morning....not like when I was a kid, we couldn't wait for Mom and Dad to get up. Anyhow, once they get awake they are good to go. Trevor gets the most excited. :)
