Four Legged Passenger

Part of our EOD mission is to search and clear buildings and the surrounding areas when "important" people come to visit. We enlisted the help of this lady and her handler when we received the tasking. She did a great job even though it took a few hours out in the heat. Her handler did a pretty good job too. She reminded many of us of our slobbery friends that we had to leave behind. It was nice to have her around for the day.

That's so awesome, do you get to pat her and stuff or is she "working" so you can't? With that tongue hanging out you know just how hot it is!

This was a post just for Emily, it seems. She adores a good working dog!

Yes, we were allowed to pat her and play with her a little. She loved to have her tummy scratched and play with her toy. I don't remember what her name was.

I don't need another reminder of the "slobbering crazy dogs" you left behind! Just ask Sarah how many leashes she had to buy, or how much fun I had high tailing it up the street with Abby in my arms! :P
