Three Month Pictures

For some reason Abigail just did not want to smile. I am still in love with them. She is just soo adorable. We did the pictures this time at our home. The pink flower one is in her crib. She is discovering her hands and starting to hold on to things. We have her four month shots this coming Friday. It is hard to believe how quickly time has gone bye with this angel. We are hoping to finalize on the adoption next month.

Sunday Outfit

We had some extra time this last Sunday morning. And since I know that a lot of you out there love the purple here you go.
She at first didn't want to look at the camera. So you get to see some of her side features.
Abigail was talking to her momma.
Here is a big hug for everyone. We love you all! And we can't wait to see you in March.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Yeah, I know I'm a little late but I thought that Sarah was going to post about our incredible day. Since I'm posting, I'll tell my version. It started out the normal early time of 0520, getting ready for work and leaving at 0600 so that I could be up at the shop before 0630. Why so early? Because it was range day!! Yes, that's right. Thursday I got to take out my M249, fully automatic machinegun, take it to the range and punch holes in the Ivans that littered the field. As they popped up at various ranges I mowed them down with 5-7 round bursts. I qualified 1st Class (Sharpshooter). Not bad for first qualifying. At the end we had left over rounds so we did some buddy team shooting. Two of us got in a lane and as the Ivans popped up he would fire a burst then I would fire a burst, knocking targets down. The furthest we shot was 700m. Again, not too bad for first-timers.

We did quit the range a little late, about 1630. I was feeling a little anxious because I know that Valentine's Day is an important holiday for the females. Well, when we got back to the shop an incident came in and I had to leave and go blow something up. By the time that we drew our bang, drove out to the sight, blew it up, and then drove back to the shop it was about 1830.

Yeah, so much for going out to dinner. Instead we had leftovers and spent the evening watching T.V.. Hey, I had a great Valentine's Day. Shooting a machinegun, blowing things up, what a great day! And of course, spending time with the wife.

Remember; It's always Valentine's Day when you're married to a Love Machine!!

Hiking

Thanks to Aunt Emily I have some great looking hiking shoes! Mommy and Daddy took me hiking yesterday. I love to go in my carrier and watch the dogs run around. Although, I think that the fresh air got to me because I fell asleep within the first ten minutes of our hike.

Momma let me get my toenails painted!

Abigail and I were invited over for dinner at Lauren's home. And Lauren asked Abigail if she wanted her toenails painted. Well she started chooing at her and then Lauren told her to ask her mommy. So Abigail turned to me and started smiling and chooing. Who could say no to that beautiful face. Lauren painted them, while I took pictures and talked with Abigail. She sat so still and did really well. I love the blue stars that Lauren put on her feet. She painted them last monday and they still look great!
